guest It was right at dusk but I think it was dark blue, yellow wheels, red calipers, but the coolest looking thing of all was the lettering was all red. Model S P85.
This is the first time I've seen all red Model S P85 lettering. Anyone else seen this before?

guest Thanks for reminding me. I found mine on Street View parked near the road at work.
On another note, the second grey one I mentioned in my previous post, I've seen it three times now very close to the same time and location. It was not following the first one, as it takes a Michigan left before where I saw the first. Dashcam shows that it has cyclone wheels.�

guest I should have posted this earlier but I saw a grey??? Model S on Rochelle Ave. in Rochelle Park, NJ on November 25 at about 9:30 AM going South. I blew the horn and you gave me the brake lights. Then one Saturday I sighted another traveling East on Essex Street in Lodi NJ and then this past Sunday the 14th. I saw a MC Red on Madison Ave. Dumont/New Milford, NJ heading East. On occasion I have seen a White one in Cresskill,NJ.... As I drove South past the Paramus NJ super charger I saw two charging yesterday at about 7:30 PM.�

guest I saw three today in Maine. The first was in Kennebunk at 12:20. It was heading east by the high school. Blue with what I believe is the older nose cone style.
The next two were minutes apart on 95 heading north near the Scarborough (number 42) exit. The first was white and the second appeared to be black. This was around 4:10.�

ON TOPIC--- I have spotted a black Tesla in Beachwood -- I won't name the owners street, but near the intersection of Woodland/Richmond roads, in Beachwood. Driveway also usually has a black Chevy Volt. So yeah, a local EV lover like us !! (we have Nissan Leaf + MS 85)�

guest Living in the SoCal Tesla bubble, it is not unusual to be cruising along on the freeway surrounded by four other Tesla's or to be unable to charge at the public parking because there are too many Tesla's, so this thread is a bit funny. However, I did a road trip to Kansas in September, and had quite a different experience. On several occasions people came up to me and asked about the car--what is it,how far can you go on a charge, etc. One time, a guy parked his car, ran over to me and asked if he could take pictures.�

guest I REALLY want to know what the deal is with the nose cone and why it exists in the first place. For the "latecomers" (haha, sorry, well technically that's me too as the roadster owners/followers are really the veterans here) that are unaware the ORIGINAL nose cones were two pieces , with the bottom half jutting out a inch or so. It was so ugly and got so many complaints they changed it to the one piece very early on within the first few months. But I want to know why it even existed in the first place. I just don't see the need for it at all.
Perhaps they thought of it as a bumper cheap to replace or something (as they knew aluminum repairs were going to be very costly and they were proactively trying to reduce the possibility of aluminum damage to the front ??)�

I spotted a red Model S with a tan interior and 19-inch Cyclone wheels.
I checked later and it was in fact a test drive car that was an S85.
By the way, this is the P85D we rode in. It was crazy fast!

Yesterday and today I left home about 10 minutes later than usual. I may need to stop posting morning commute sightings of the black MS on NB Rochester/Stephenson if this keeps up.�
