HankLloydRight It's inconsistent, for sure. Looking at all sold and unsold cars:
9 cars have DCF0 but not DA02
3 cars have DA02 but not DCF0
1624 cars have both
But option codes TP02 and TP03 also indicate Autopilot.
TP02 Tech Package with Autopilot
TP03 Autopilot Convenience Features
If you're looking for a P85D+, I think you can safely assume they are all AP enabled. If you're looking for a P85+ that has AP, those are very rare and I doubt we'll see many (any) of those show up as Preowned in the future.
Also, if you're setting up EV-CPO alerts, you can alert on AP as an individual alert criteria, and then PX01 as an option alert. That will cover all bases.
May 8, 2016
tornado7 Dear Hank, any idea why now there is not even the "CPO" option shown on your site, only "Inv" can be selected even after I login. Is it that Tesla took ALL the CPO offers off their website? Or is there a different reason? Really hoping that replenishing will now finally start again. My "Elon" package was kind of useless so far, at least since february

May 8, 2016
HankLloydRight Yup. Not a single CPO car on Tesla's site. Once more are listed, the "CPO" option will return.
You can set up an alert just for "CPO" and be alerted the moment more CPOs are added.
May 9, 2016
thgchris Does anyone know why all of the CPO's are gone now? Hank have you heard anything?
Edit: sorry if it's been covered before
May 9, 2016
HankLloydRight I know what the rest of you know... there are no CPOs listed.
We've been hearing for weeks that a flood of CPOs are going to be listed online "any day now"... and we're still waiting. Latest word posted today that there will be CPOs listed tonight.
As soon as any CPOs are listed in quantity, I'll be sure to alert everyone, if others don't beat me to it first.
May 14, 2016
cab I have a feeling they are moving these things about as quick as they are getting them in these days...hence no postings. I've received a few from an adviser, but none have met my criteria.
May 18, 2016
JeffC Very quick note of thanks for the site. EV-CPO is very useful. It's annoying that Tesla doesn't make this kind of reporting available to the public. I'm sure they have it internally.
May 18, 2016
HankLloydRight You're welcome! Glad you like it.
But Tesla being a marketing organization as much as a energy company, I understand why their marketing folks want it exactly the way it is.
May 20, 2016
Fiver They don't. The system they use internally is terrible. Hank's is far better. This is coming from a CPO advisor. I joked about how such an advanced tech car company could have such a terrible inventory system for CPO's.. The response was something to the effect of "I think all our engineers are busy working on car systems, and don't have a moment to spare to make our inventory systems useable."
May 20, 2016
JeffC Feedback: Please add Midnight Silver Metallic paint to differentiate it from Grey Metallic, if indeed they are different colors, which they appear to be. The former may be very dark and almost black. The latter may be more of a medium grey.
Having the correct paint color labels is pretty important.
May 20, 2016
JeffC That's silly. Telsa surely has web site engineers. If not enough, then they may need more resources.
BTW, off topic, but can you confirm Grey Metallic is not currently available on the Model S Design Studio? It's almost a deal breaker for me. (I can't find a CPO or lot/demo/inventory car with the right combination of features and colors.)
May 20, 2016
JeffC The old metallic grey, paint code PMTG, is discontinued. The Midnight silver is paint code PMNG.
May 20, 2016
HankLloydRight

May 20, 2016
Fiver Fixed. Thanks.
May 20, 2016
HankLloydRight That's kind of the response I had, but apparently it is the case. They have all the information about cars, but it's spread out on multiple pages that the CPO advisors must flip back and forth from to get a full picture of what's available.
If I recall Hank was in touch with Tesla for a bit about something when he launched the ev-cpo site, but it was never fully explained.

May 20, 2016
HankLloydRight Yup. The teams that build cars are different from the team(s) that builds the website. I asked, and was told that the CPO site was developed internally (as opposed to outsourced). So they have web development folks on staff. They could build what I did, but they haven't, although they also tell me that a revamped CPO site is in the works.
There are 10 CPOs with Grey Metallic..(mostly early cars). what other color combinations are you looking for?
May 20, 2016
JeffC They asked if I was interested in working with their web team to incorporate some/many/all of the features of EV-CPO into their platform (I was). A month or two later they got back to me and said they were going to "utilize internal resources" instead. That was almost a year ago.
May 20, 2016
JeffC My other favorite colors are Silver and Titanium. The former is a bit too light and the latter is a bit too dark and brown for me. Will need to take a closer look at them at the dealer.
Also have somewhat odd feature combinations wanted: I prefer the metal roof and 19 inch wheels. The former seem really scarce in inventory and CPO, and Silver is also rare. Tesla seems to be cranking out a lot of Titanium and Pano these days.
I've driven lots of sporty cars in the past and want 19s for better wear, comfort and highway cruising (for AutoPilot road trips). Sport sedans are a bit of an oxymoron and can get compromised away from comfort pretty easily by trying to turn them into something they're not: pseudo-racers.
P.S. Thanks much for adding the Midnight Silver Metallic category! Friendly suggestion: see if you can automatically detect and add new colors as they appear on the Tesla site. Paint color is a category that will always exist; no danger of it going away. More scalable.

May 20, 2016
HankLloydRight Not to make excuses for Tesla but:
1. They probably do have more resources working on the cars. If so, that's a somewhat reasonable priority. Cars are their actual product. While a web site is a very important interface to the public, the cars should have top priority.
2. CPO and even Inventory cars may be at a lower priority than getting new cars built. The latter is a key measurement of success. The former is more of a courtesy to customers; important, but not as important to the (financial) success of the company as new production. And we all want the company to succeed financially if it's to survive to keep making cars.
3. Like many Silicon Valley companies, Tesla probably operates essentially in start up mode, or at least I hope they do. That means they're all really busy, and it's a challenge for them to keep up with all the things going on. It's also hard to get their attention because they're probably very focussed on really essential stuff that keeps popping up. To really keep their attention, you'd probably need to pound on the door every day. Either they'd listen or de-prioritize.
So while improving their web site is important, it's probably not as important as some of their other priorities.
OTOH you've built a very cool, useful site, that they didn't have time to do yet. That's cool too, in a different way.

1/1/2015
guest I agree with most of what you said in terms of priorities, etc.. my original post really wasn't about mission critical priorities. I was just saying that the team that does the website work, most likely is not the same people that build cars or write the software/firmware for cars. I see each groups as mostly independent workflows, departments, teams, etc.
So sure, when Tesla updates the MS Design Studio, or introduces the new MX Design Studio, or other modifications to the site in order to sell more cars, that certainly takes priority. But in-between those times, I don't think we see a lot of changes to the public facing website (what are those human resources doing?). I've sent in several requests to link up the ESA I bought at a service center to the MyTesla page, and they still haven't fixed that bug (a lot of people have mentioned this).
So I don't think re-prioritizing the web dev resources has any real affect on the car building resources (except as noted when big changes are released).
May 21, 2016
JeffC Thanks Hank. BTW you may need to tweak things a bit. If I select Grey Metallic on alerts, I get Midnight Silver Metallic results or vice versa. It feels like an underlying value isn't matching up as expected.
May 21, 2016
HankLloydRight This should be fixed. Thanks.
May 21, 2016
JeffC Thanks Hank, I ran it a bunch of different ways and it looks perfect now.
May 22, 2016
playoutside Hi Hank, do the Hidden CPO's trigger alerts too? If not it would be cool to add alerts for them as well as create a history of Hidden CPO list.
Thanks, love the site!
May 23, 2016
HankLloydRight Thanks for your feedback! Hidden cars always arrive into the system as a listed/non-hidden car, and yes, at that point, alerts are triggered as normal. Hidden cars are created when they still appear "for sale" (they have a listing page with a "buy now" button) but are no longer listed on the Tesla website, so the action of being hidden from the viewable list does not trigger an alert. There's no way for a car to suddenly appear on the "hidden" list without being listed first. And yes, the hidden cars, when sold or no longer available are moved to the History list.
May 23, 2016
cab Now that the CPOs are (kind of) back, I went ahead an re-upped for another 3 months. Hopefully, they'll continue to trickle in.
May 23, 2016
HankLloydRight Great - thank you for your support.
May 25, 2016
Jeffgtx Is there a way to determine if a car has 3G or lte? Thanks.
May 25, 2016
Cyclone No. But if it really matters to you, just accept the car will be $500 more than listed and if it already has LTE, then you save $500.

May 25, 2016
Jeffgtx I don't see it that way. Too many (more than zero) reports of things going wrong during the retrofit process. I'm not have surgery done for a little better cell signal.
May 26, 2016
13P85plus Explain on what goes wrong?
May 26, 2016
Jeffgtx there have been reports here of the dash fitment not being the same, screen being crooked after putting it back in, trip data getting erased. all things i would have expected from taking a dash apart and putting it back together. it's rarely the same afterwards on any car, let alone a model S. simply not worth the risk, no matter how low.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight I think there have been a couple isolated reports of issues, which also were promptly resolved at the service center.
I had the LTE upgrade done on my early vin (15xxx) P85+ without a single issue or problem. Lots of people have had it done without any issues, but they generally don't post if there is a problem, only those with issues do, so that skews the perception that it's a systemic problem with the LTE upgrade.
The LTE access and speed for the nav and map redraws is phenomenally better, and well worth the miniscule perceived "risk" that there might be a resolvable issue during retrofit.
You make it sound like the LTE retrofit will brick your car ("the sky is falling!"). That couldn't be further from the truth.
May 26, 2016
kwjayhawk can anyone go to Netflix's speed test fast.com and see a difference?
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight There's no way for one person to do that test objectively to compare. You'd need two cars one with LTE and one with 3G at the same location, and even then there are too many variables.
In my own tests, LTE is phenomenally faster for map redraws.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight Also doing a speed test in the crippled MS browser really won't test the true bandwidth available.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight In my car with just 2 bars of LTE, I got 4.0 Mbps. But realize that that is also going through Tesla's VPN which could also be limiting bandwidth on the browser. The nav maps may or may not also go through the same VPN (i.e. a direct connection to Google).
May 26, 2016
bkp_duke Check your IP address, then see who is the provider for that IP address (i.e. if AT&T, Verzion, etc. then you are not going through a VPN for browsing). I would be surprised if Tesla sends just regular browsing traffic through a VPN. That would be a waste of bandwidth and server resources on their part.
Car functions/updates, totally different ball of wax.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight It's Jasper Technologies VPN (now Cisco).
May 26, 2016
Jeffgtx I don't think I did that all. I said there were more than zero issues. Zero is my comfort level and experience has told me that taking a dash apart is always risky. Better to leave it factory installed.
Did tesla restore the lifetime trip data for the customer that lost it? If not that wouldn't be labeled resolved.
Regardless I'm not sure why I have to justify my legitimate question about a feature in a support thread. Can I get a yes or no answer from the developer? Thanks.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight Cyclone already did answer -- no, there are no option codes for 3G vs. LTE.
But with that attitude, would you want any work done on your car, ever? The lifetime trip odo reset could have been a result of something entirely unrelated to the LTE upgrade, and it was just one isolated case. Also, again, it's not like it bricked the car or changed the performance or fit or finish of the car. A resetable trip odometer was inadvertently reset. I'd hardly call that any kind of significant issue or problem related to the LTE upgrade. Seriously?
I'm 100% sure that you'll never find any repair, retrofit, upgrade, or even regular service item that has had a lifetime over the entire Tesla fleet of "zero" issues or problems related to it. That just seems an extreme position to take over something hundreds (or thousands) of people done, and there have been "non-zero" reports of problems. "Non-zero" is an extremely high hurdle to hit, if not impossible.
May 26, 2016
Jeffgtx I'm not sure why this is escalating or why you talk down to paying customers but I'll try one more time to defend a legitimate feature question in your support thread.
Cyclone is not the developer. You are. Your answer matters.
I never suggested the upgrade bricked the car. I said there were issues that made it not worth it to me. I'm allowed to have an opinion. The benefit of Lte is not worth that to me. I've done plenty of other retrofit work on my cars where the trade off was worth it to me. In this case it is not. And in order to defend my question why I didn't want to just deal with it after purchase, I explained why m. Not sure why that entitles you to unilaterally determine my attitude and call me chicken little.
May 26, 2016
HankLloydRight Well, I really wasn't trying to talk down to you, so I apologize if it came across that way. Chalk it up to having a very different risk-reward profile.
May 26, 2016
Cyclone The simple answer is there is no option code for LTE (I pointed Hank to the description of the option codes I found way back when, and he has since greatly improved upon that). The only surefire way to have LTE and know it wasn't a retrofit is to get a 2016 Model S. 2015 could be from the factory that way, but yo wouldn't be able to determine that easily before or after purchase (since Tesla won't release prior service history to you).
Personally, I live in an area where AT&T HSPA+ (Tesla's 3G) is more than enough for my needs. This isn't original HSPA (original 3G), but HSPA+ (enhanced 3G, later marketed as 4G but not LTE). So for me, I just wouldn't care which one a car had.
BTW, Jeff, while Tesla does not disclose service history of the car to the new owner, I would ask the Owner Advisor to look into whether the screen had ever been replaced under warranty. If for any reason the screen was replaced (even if not b/c of the LTE retrofit), the dash would have been opened up. If that is something you must avoid, I would make sure to have the OA look into it for any car you decide to purchase - even a new one.
Jun 14, 2016
xveys Hi Hank, it appears that most of the CPO cars in Europe don't show up in your list. Eh the Netherlands has 6 cars but only 2 show up in the ev-cpo list. Glitch maybe?
Jun 17, 2016
Rahul Hank not sure if this has been asked before but would it be possible to add Dated Added to the historical data?
Jun 17, 2016
HankLloydRight I try to keep the table width friendly for most monitors/devices, so adding another date field would definitely push that limit even higher.. But there's also the Days on Market value which is just the difference between date added and date removed, so I don't think it's too hard to back out the date added from the DOM value, without the need to add another wide date column.
Jun 17, 2016
cab For you guys with LTE - does going to www.speedtest.net in the car show similar speeds to the same activity on your phone when sitting in the car (note: there is also a phone app from speedtest.net)...sorry, I know this isn't really the thread for this!
Jun 29, 2016
Fiver Just re-subscribed to the history option, but I don't see the members area like I did last time. I am logged in. How long does it take to reflect my upgraded membership?
Jun 29, 2016
HankLloydRight I just sent you an email. I am out for a while and will correct asap when I get back!
Jun 30, 2016
playoutside Hey Hank, is there anyway to setup an alert for a Model X? Thanks
Jul 1, 2016
HankLloydRight Yes, I'm the option code area include: MDLX
But there only have been 2 so far, and they might have been errors because they disappeared in less than an hour.
Jul 30, 2016
HankLloydRight Tesla just released an updated Preowned website with more filtering and sorting than they had before (although not quite as extensive as EV-CPO), and they changed the links to each car to use the entire VIN and not just the last 6 digits, so it's going to take me some time to revamp EV-CPO to work again. Unfortunately I'm at TMC Connect today, Bonnie's party tomorrow, and a Fremont factory tour on Monday, so I'm not sure I can fix it all on the road, but I'll try.
So in the mean time, many things on EV-CPO probably won't be working just quite right. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Jul 31, 2016
HankLloydRight Ok, Tesla made a number of internal changes to their CPO site, and now EV-CPO is working again, although not at 100%.
Tesla also has removed all of their inventory cars from their Preowned site, and now it is only listing true CPOs, and EV-CPO now reflects this.
There are a few outstanding issues on EV-CPO which I'll fix when I get back on Tuesday. There's only so much I can do on a macbook air from my hotel room. But at least for now it seems to be working for US CPO cars listed on Tesla's site.
Jul 31, 2016
Skione65 @HankLloydRight,
Thanks for the quick work! We appreciate it!

ba2002 Is this really true? I seem to be seeing inventory cars still?
Buy a new Tesla today | Tesla
Jul 31, 2016
HankLloydRight Yes, Tesla has now split off inventory cars from CPOs. I have not yet integrated that new page into EV-CPO.com. I'll do that as soon as I return from TMC Connect weekend in Tuesday. While I'm here, I'm going to Fremont for a factory tour tomorrow.
Aug 1, 2016
HankLloydRight I had some time this morning, so I was able to add back in the Inventory cars.
Will fix any lingering issues tomorrow.
Aug 1, 2016

As a heads up, history isn't updating.
Aug 1, 2016
HankLloydRight Oh I know.. I'll fix that tomorrow. Thanks.
Aug 6, 2016
ArtC What happened to the CPO/ Inv. column?
Aug 6, 2016
HankLloydRight They are now broken out into two separate sections, as Tesla has done on their site to separate real CPO (preowned) cars (see: Pre-Owned Model S | Tesla) from "New Inventory" cars (see: Buy a new Tesla today | Tesla)

GFORCED Thanks for this. I watched the link like a hawk until pulling the trigger last week. Without this link, I would have probably bought used from a dealer with little or now warranty left. Now I have a CPO car with 4 more year warranty!
Aug 7, 2016
GFORCED Thanks for this Hank! It helped me purchase a CPO P85 cheaper than local dealers and with 4 year warranty! I really appreciate it. ;-)
Aug 7, 2016
HankLloydRight You're welcome!! Congrats.
Aug 9, 2016
xveys Hi Hank, can you tell how often the European sites get updated on your site?
There is one car that i was interested in (vin 23204) which someone snatched away yesterday, 1-2 hours before me. It still appears on ev-cpo.com though.
Thanks for the tool already, really helpful in my search!
Aug 10, 2016
Cashoverass You have Vin 151327 listed with AP, AP is supposed to stand for autopilot, right? My Tesla sales person confirmed this car doesn't have AP.
Aug 10, 2016
HankLloydRight Thanks. That car has option code TP03 which at one point in the past was for cars with "Autopilot Convenience Package".
But that option code is now for "Power and Lighting Package". I've adjusted accordingly.
Aug 11, 2016
mwbbrown Love the site, thanks.
One small bug I've noticed. When filtering the US Model X inventory by wheel type the 22" Onyx Black is the only type that works. So if you filter by 20" Silver it shows no results even though there are plenty. I assume it's something to do with the inch symbol (") since the Onyx wheels are the only one with a (-) instead of a (").
Aug 11, 2016
HankLloydRight Yeah, that's probably the issue. I can fix it a little later today or tomorrow. Thanks.
Aug 11, 2016
HankLloydRight Now fixed. thanks.
Aug 12, 2016
mwbbrown 1 hour and 2 mins from first post acknowledging the problem and announcing it's fixed. Damn, I feel like I owe you a subscription.
Thanks.
Aug 12, 2016
HankLloydRight Thanks. I've been in the live/24x7 website business for 18 years. So when something (anything) is not working, a lot of people are probably effectect besides the one or two people who raised the issue. EV-CPO is small compared to my other properties, but the same edict applies to them all. I absolutely hate it when websites don't work (even a little), so I strive to make sure that doesn't happen to any users of my sites. Thanks for using the site.
Aug 18, 2016
dckiwi I just signed up for a premium membership on ev-cpo.com today. When I ran my first search of CPO inventory Model S vehicles I saw a ton of 'hidden' listings. I didn't have time to look at them, but when I returned later and ran another search all these 'hidden' listings are gone.
I doubt that many cars sold in an hourWhat am I missing? Thanks

Aug 18, 2016
theflyer Hank, thank you for making the EV-CPO tool. I've had a number of alerts running for awhile now; earlier this week I found the car I wanted from one of those alerts. I'm now anxiously awaiting delivery. I didn't think I would be an owner of a Tesla until the Model 3 arrived, but your tool allowed me to find a 2014 with autopilot and low miles at a price I was willing to pay.
Aug 18, 2016
HankLloydRight
I've been working on the Alerts page today to incorporate Model X and other options, and I removed the hidden cars from the resulting list. But I just took that out so you should get better results now. I will fix up the rest of that page tomorrow to show more/better information in the Alerts result table.
Congratulations!!! Thanks for the feedback.
Aug 18, 2016
dckiwi Hrm there are definitely more results now (431 vs 200 something before). However I still don't see the hidden listings - I believe they have a special character before the location name?
Aug 18, 2016
HankLloydRight Yes, hidden cars should have an "@" sign after the location name. I can see a few. You can try searching for "@" in the search box to find them. This is something I plan to improve tomorrow.
Aug 18, 2016
dckiwi Ok thanks for the quick responses!
Aug 18, 2016
Az_Rael I am having some trouble with an alert I am running. Today it shows (1) car (it was 7 yesterday), but it looks like there are more than that in the main CPO list.
Here is the Alert parameters:
Premium Audio:Y;
Color:Blue,RedMC;
Country:US;
CPO/Inv:CPO; Interior:GreyLeather,GreyLthr&Alcant,GreyNappa,GreyNextGen,GreyPerf,TanLeather,TanLthr&Alcant,TanNappa,TanNextGen,TanPerf;
Options PK01 X037;
Roof Pano;
Tech Package:Y;
Wheels:19Any;
Year:2013,2014,2015;
It only shows (1) match (the page won't load to show me what the match VIN is), but I think the following VIN's do match this search:
P31975, P32016, P52549, P51024 unless I am missing something.
Aug 18, 2016
HankLloydRight Yeah, I'll have to dig into this tomorrow. I'm not at my dev desk tonight, but I promise to get this sorted out asap.
Aug 18, 2016
HankLloydRight I made one change -- Tesla recently changed all the option codes for colors... that might have been excluding a few. Other than that, I'll look into it tomorrow.
Aug 18, 2016
HankLloydRight Ok,once I fixed the colors, I'm seeing 13 cars matching these criteria.
Aug 18, 2016
Az_Rael That might have been it. I now have 13 matches showing and all of the example VINs are listed now! Thanks!
Aug 19, 2016
rscott0 Same here! I wanted a CPO Model S with AP at a decent price, knowing it would be nearly impossible to find. Less than 2 weeks ago, I got the E-mail alert. Now I have a Model S in my garage! So count this as yet another "Thank you!"
Waiting was definitely not easy, but as any Tesla owner will attest to, well worth it.
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight Thanks for the feedback folks! It's comments like these that really make my day.
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight System update notice: Alerts for price changes are now only sent out if the price changes $500 or more. Price fluctuations of less than $500 are not recorded. Once the price changes $500 or more, then the price on EV-CPO will be updated and alerts will be sent out.
Tesla is fond of pushing out dozens or hundreds of $100 price changes (both UP and DOWN), generating lots of pretty useless alerts to be sent out. So it is possible to see a small price differences (<$500) between Tesla's site and EV-CPO, until the price difference hits $500.
Aug 19, 2016
dckiwi I actually don't get any results when I search for "@' in the search box. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also, the alerts.php page is not available - I guess it's down for maintenance currently?
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight It's working from here. There's now a separate column for the hidden attribute.
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight If you have complex alerts, it could take a minute to load the alerts page.
Aug 19, 2016
dckiwi Weird, this is what I'm seeing: (wonder if it's an issue w/ my browser)
Aug 19, 2016
dckiwi Also no place to manage alerts (see screenshot). I've cleared my browser cache and tried both safari and chrome.
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight Do you have a current Premium subscription? Are you logged into that account? If you post screenshots please don't crop anything out like the url or the page footer.
Aug 19, 2016
HankLloydRight Open the subscription tab and see what it says. A Premium sub will also have "Member Area" and the "Hidden" sections. They are not on your page so either your sub ran out or you are not logged into the right account.
Aug 19, 2016
dckiwi I am a current Premium subscriber and I am logged in. Sorry about the screenshots - here's a better one. You'll see I'm logged in (at the bottom, I just redacted part of my email address). You'll see there's no alerts link and there are no results from the @ search.

dckiwi Ugh sorry user error! I had two accounts registered. I had paid for premium on one and was using the other. Again, sorry for the false start on this one. Ok off to look at CPOs

theflyer I too was waiting for an AP car to arrive. Having the ability to set alerts by specific features was really key. For me, I had three criteria: 85kWh pack, AP, and 19" wheels. Its clear from the activity on that alert that AP cars are showing up more frequently now.

HankLloydRight I've been working on the Alert page lately to add Model X and other MX features.
For people that haven't seen it, here are all the ways you can set up alerts:

HankLloydRight Another update today.. if you have a Premium subscription, the "Options" popup for each car (accessed by clicking on this icon:)is now enhanced with Option Categories, in order to make the long list of options more digestible.
Now you can quickly "at-a-glance" see the options you are most interested in. Here's one example.

Az_Rael Should we be cautious of the EV-CPO data until this update is finished? I have P16267, P19847, P24262, P26343, P27889 showing in my alert that do show X037 on EV-CPO, but the detail page source code does not appear to include X037. Only one that meets my criteria, P32016, has X037 on the actual detail page.
Aug 24, 2016
HankLloydRight Only a little bit, as far as I can tell now, the PFM are the only option that seems to be out of sync. If you're unsure, go by the car detail page on Tesla.com for the options on the car. Or if you know how, open up the HTML source and see if X037 is there or not.
This is at the top of my list to get fixed, but it's not simple.

Az_Rael Thanks for the update! I do know how to check the page source, so I will just double check them for now.

goofygrin what would be super helpful would be to scrape the estimated lease payment. That gets us a ROM discount amount (and helps find those sweet lease deals where there's a large discount from MSRP).
I'd also like a column for filtering on premium package (although I know over time the contents have changed... power lift gate? That's really my concern).
Aug 25, 2016
HankLloydRight I looked into the leasing numbers, and the monthly payment is calculated on-the-fly with javascript taking all the options, mileage, msrp, and discount into account. That's not to say I couldn't reverse engineer the code to calculate it on this end, but that's a bigger project to undertake.
I'll look into the PUP as a column, but in the mean time, you can search for option code PI01.
Aug 25, 2016
HankLloydRight I've also now fixed the phantom Power Folding Mirrors errors in their source data. 330 cars had the X037 option sent when they shouldn't have. My code now has to open up every car's detail page and compare the two option lists and calculate the differences and adjust accordingly.
While running that code, it came across at least 20 other cars that had some other weirdness in their option code listings. I'm sending off a note to my TM contact to see if we can get all these fixed, as I hope they are interested in not having inconsistent data. But since most of the errors are about the PFM which their site doesn't search/filter for, I'm not sure how much traction I'll get. But at least EV-CPO.com now it accurate for those 330 cars previously reporting PFM that didn't actually have them.

Skione65 @HankLloydRight,
Great Update (Options Categories)!!!Appreciate it.

HankLloydRight I'm moving the site to a Cloudflare front end tonight, so if anyone notices anything out of the ordinary, please let me know.
Thanks.
Aug 28, 2016
robski Not a real biggie but I was cruising the experimental section and notice a couple P85Ds that were ~$5k off - 082522, 081890. I realize this is "experimental" tho.
Aug 29, 2016
HankLloydRight Thanks, I'll investigate. The "hidden" cars are only updated once per day (it has to call the page for each one to check).. and right now there are almost 800 hidden cars (which is pretty strange in itself!), so that's a lot of pageviews hitting the Tesla website. So I try not to abuse it too much.

lakerholic I have a request: find me a non-facelift P90DL like the six I passed on over the weekend and now regret doing so! HAHA. JK. Hoping for a miracle flood of 2016 non-facelift P90Dls hitting the hidden inventory fields soon, but that may be like hoping to win the lottery.
In all seriousness, thanks for providing such an awesome service to us all. It's bee fun daydreaming, procrastinating, and, ultimately feeling regret for passing up cars. Eventually I'll grab one, and the referral credit will be coming your way!

HankLloydRight Thanks for your feedback!!
Unless I'm missing something, there are 157 such cars on the site matching that criteria. 6 are listed, 151 are "hidden". Unless you were being sarcastic.. I'm not sure.
Aug 29, 2016
dalamchops The ones in hidden are sold (mine included)
Aug 29, 2016
HankLloydRight Not all of them. I just randomly clicked on about 10% and they were all listed for sale (not removed). What's your VIN?
Aug 29, 2016
dalamchops Correct, they still show up, but are unsearchable via Tesla.com, mine's 114012. The deposit is already put down and in transit soon.
Aug 29, 2016
HankLloydRight That's the purpose of the hidden cars -- they are all unsearchable on Tesla's site (in fact you can't even search for VINs).
But it is still listed: Model S P90D 5YJSA1E43FF114012 | Tesla
I suspect they'll take the listing down when you actually buy the car (not just a deposit down).
But that doesn't imply that most/any of the 156 other cars that fit lakerholic's criteria are already sold.
Aug 29, 2016
lakerholic I just realized I needed to sign up for premium to see the additional cars. Hopefully they pop up. I'm not seeing them at the moment. Love love love the site!!
Aug 29, 2016
lakerholic Found it! Let the fun begin again!!
Aug 29, 2016
HankLloydRight Congrats on your new car!
But just be aware the "hidden" cars is experimental -- it's hard to tell if any particular car is available. If you find one you want, try to buy it and put a deposit down, but they may get back to you that it's not available. Use at your own risk!!

dalamchops
They were all taken down at one point, and came back. All the MCR P90Ds are definitely sold as a lot of them were discussed in the other thread about the ridiculously low lease prices.
